About

Belmont Barbershop started as a one chair shop in the window of the Alaska building on Main Street in January of 2017. Just two doors down was Boise’s historic Hannifin’s Cigar Store, whom after an iconic 111 years in business, closed their doors in 2019. In February of 2020, Belmont made its move and it was then that the Belmont Barbershop you see today took form. The Beckwith building, already rich with historic charm, made for an easy transition for the traditional barbershop experience that Belmont offers. From the 130 year old wood floors to the original wood stove, Belmont fits right in with its turn-of-the-century barber chairs, antique items and that classic feel.

We take great pride in our shop as well as the services we provide. It’s more than just a haircut; it’s an experience. All of our barbers excel at a wide variety of styles and cuts ranging from mild to wild. Fades, scissor cuts, mullets, mohawks, classic gentleman’s cuts—whatever your flavor, we’ve got you covered! Whether you’re old or young, at Belmont there’s something for everyone.
